what started as endlessly sending screenshots in group chats, spontaneous evenings that ran later than planned, and debates about where we should eat again, slowly grew into a place where we gather all our favorite spots, observations, and finds.
we live, study, and wander mostly around Amsterdam and are always looking for places where you stay a little longer than planned. sometimes a small wine bar where everyone stands outside with a glass in hand, sometimes a noisy spot where you realize far too late that you still needed to eat, sometimes just a quiet place where nobody seems to be in a hurry.
we try to present places as honestly as possible. not everything has to be perfect or trendy to be interesting. some spots are loud, small, messy, or pricey, but memorable for exactly those reasons. others are calm, simple, and just right for a long Tuesday evening.
the website keeps changing. restaurants change their menus, neighborhoods shift, and places sometimes disappear as quickly as they appear. information can occasionally be off or not fully up to date.
